DISTRICT COURT WAIVER PENALTY PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to 10 V.S.A. § 4555(b) Judge Linda Levitt, Judge Edward J. Cashman and Judge Michael S. Kupersmith held a public hearing on Friday, January 14, 2005, at 12:30 p.m. in the Champlain Room on the third floor of the Costello Courthouse, 32 Cherry Street, Burlington, Vermont. The purpose of said hearing to take testimony from the public as it pertained to the establishment of schedules, within the limits prescribed by law, of the amount of waiver fines to be imposed for new fish and game offenses within the District Court's jurisdiction.

Notice of said hearing was published in the Burlington Free Press; Caledonia Record; Times Argus and Rutland Herald.

Based on the fact that no one appeared to testify in opposition, the recommended fine of $250 is hereby established.
