Description

Dawnia – this is the same problem we encoutered last week – I will put it in Rick’s “eBug”; we spoke to Rao on the phone about it Friday morning, and thought it might be a simple delay as data is transmitted to the system.  I’ve concluded this morning that this is NOT caused by a delay, as it has now been over half an hour since the clerk did the original clerk review.  Please view the entire trail below.  ( I have confirmed that the clerk has the appropriate role settings.))

1. Clerk in Orleans County accepted a case plan in clerk review, and then could not find the case plan when she searched in clerk viewer for the docket number.  She contacted me, and I am unable to view the document in clerk viewer.

2.  I am, however, able to “Search Filings” including filed filings, filter for Orleans, then click on the docket number

3. I then returned to the clerk viewer and searched by docket number and still the case plan is not displayed.

Solution

11/15/12 GF (via email):  (Clerk review screen not displaying docs accepted in clerk review) – the issue is related to Security (and training as to how to set it)… if you look at the Security Roles who can access documents in Sub Folder “Confidential” under folder “Non Public”.  Users assigned Security role “Staff” does not have access to documents in this folder. By default users of a Superior court are granted Security role “Staff” and Administrators of a superior court are granted security role “Court Clerk”. User “Anna Marie Wright” is not an administrator (See below). However she is granted security role “Court Clerk” ( See below).   Can’t tell for certain when User “Anna Marie Wright” is granted this additional Security Role. If you want all users of superior court to do something or view something associate it with Security Role “Staff”. For example if you want all users of superior court to view documents in Confidential folder and not perform superior court level administrative functions grant “Staff” role permission to view documents in “Confidential” sub folder and remove additional rights granted to each user
Rao 11/15/2012 - I can’t reproduce this issue as of 11/15/2012 14:00:05 PM. I have logged as user “Anna Marire Wright” and when I search on Docket # 85-12-09 osjv, I do show two entries , Top entry from 11/08/2012 associated with Filing # 64891. Same behavior (i.e. can view both documents ) when logged in as user “Cindy Clerk Foster Test” ( ERN 3829 ).
11/12/12: CF (We have new court clerks starting to use eCAbinet every week - especially frustrating for newbies when the system does not work as their documentation indicates it will.)
