12-10-10 -- Disciplinary Counsel, pursuant to A.O. 9, Rule 20, notifies Supreme Court of Discipline in Other Jurisdiction.  The NH order provides for a one-year suspension, but stays the suspension for two years subject to certain conditions.  12-15-10 -- The Vermont Supreme Court ordered that any reciprocal discipline that might otherwise be imposed against Respondent under our Rules is deferred pending the expiration of the stay under the New Hampshire Court order.

On October 23, 2012, the Supreme Court entered an order immediately suspending the Respondent’s license on an interim basis pending the resolution of a disciplinary investigation into his conduct.  The Court concluded that the Respondent violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and posed a substantial threat of harm to the public. In particular, the Court found that the Respondent had filed pro se pleadings in the Superior Court that contained knowing false statements of fact and that, taken together, were neither minimally competent nor reasonably based in fact or law.  Supreme Court Docket No. 2012-351
