Electronic filing (e-filing) was introduced in the Vermont Superior Court in 2010. Attorneys must e-file new civil cases in the Rutland and Windsor divisions as well as small claims cases in the Addison, Orange, Rutland, and Windsor divisions. If you are a pro se litigant (representing yourself), you have the option of e-filing or paper filing in the same divisions.

If you admit to an alleged violation, then you may waive your right to appear in court and pay the waiver amount.
