RESULTS OF THE FEBRUARY 2001 BAR EXAMINATION

There were 40 candidates for admission who sat for all or part of the Bar Examination held on February 28^th and March 1^st in Burlington, Vermont.

24 or 60% have succeeded in passing both the Essay Examination and the Multistate Examination portions.*

36 candidates sat for the Essay Examination given on March 1^st . 24 or 66% passed that examination portion.

17 candidates sat for the Multistate Examination in Vermont, given on February 28^th . 5 or 29% passed that examination.

A list of the candidates who have now passed both portions (Essay and Multistate Examinations)

of the Bar Examination is attached.

*certain applicants had previously certified Essay or MBE scores. These are only reflected in the overall pass rate.
