RESULTS OF THE JULY 2001 BAR EXAMINATION

There were 56 candidates for admission who sat for all or part of the Bar Examination held on July 25^th and 26^th in Burlington, Vermont.

38 or 67% have succeeded in passing both the Essay Examination and the Multistate Examination portions.*

55 candidates sat for the Essay Examination given on July 26^th. 40 or 72% passed that examination portion.

38 candidates sat for the Multistate Examination in Vermont, given on July 25^th . 26 or 68% passed that examination.

A list of the candidates who have now passed both portions (Essay and Multistate Examinations) of the Bar Examination is attached.

*certain applicants had previously certified Essay or MBE scores. These are only reflected in the overall pass rate.
