RESULTS OF THE JULY 2002 BAR EXAMINATION
There were 74 candidates for admission who sat for all or part of the bar examination held on July 31 and August 1, 2002 in Burlington, Vermont
Forty-eight or 65% have succeeded in passing both the essay examination and the multistate examination portions.*
Sixty-nine candidates sat for the essay examination given on August 1. Forty-Six or 66% passed that examination portion.
Fifty candidates sat for the multistate examination in Vermont, given on July 31. Thirty-four or 68% passed that examination.
A list of the candidates who have now passed both portions (essay and multistate examinations) of the bar examination is attached.
*Certain applicants had previously certified essay or MBE scores. These are only reflected in the overall pass rate.
