The Probate Court is located in the red brick municipal/fire station building in the center of town.
Judge Christopher H. Howe:
Judge Howe is a 1981 graduate of Vermont Law School, having practiced law in Fair Haven for 3 years before being elected to his first term as Probate Judge in 1988. Currently carrying out his fourth term as Judge, he also continues to serve the citizens of the area as a practicing attorney for his own legal firm.
Sheri C. Brown – Court Register:
Mrs. Brown is a 1986 graduate of Champlain College, and has extensive business experience, both within and outside the field of law. She handles basic Court administration and accounting, and assists with all probate-related petitions and requests of our court -- including (but not limited to) estates, guardianships, trusts, adoptions, record/name changes, and genealogy requests.
