PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for recording court proceedings on electronic recording equipment, monitoring the tape machine to insure that the proceeding is being recorded, and to maintain a log of the proceeding to aid in transcription.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education: High school graduation.

Experience: Two years of clerical or secretarial experience. College training may be substituted for the work experience on a year-for-year basis. Ability to type at a corrected rate of thirty-five words per minute.
