Reporting Instructions: You have reached the Jury Line at Washington County Criminal Court. The Criminal Court house is at 255 Main Street in Barre.

You are expected to appear at the Friday, May 3rd Jury draw, unless you have received a call, e-mail or post card specifically excusing you.

If you have not been excused and your jury group number is between 100 and 424, please come to the Barre Courthouse between 8:00am and 8:20am.

If you have not been excused and your jury group number is between 425 and 600, please call the jury line at noon to see if you need to come in.  If so, please arrive no later than 1:15pm.  

It does take several minutes to get through security screening. Prepare for this as if you were taking a flight at the airport. No sharps, knives, forks, glass bottles, knitting needles, tools, nail files, mace, or hazardous materials. It will make the process smoother. You may need to stand outside while waiting – plan to dress accordingly.

You may park at any meter in the City of Barre. The green meters in town allow for up to 8 hours of parking.

Please do not park in the Walgreen’s parking lot. The landlord will have you towed. The court does not pay or reimburse for parking.
