Judge Grearson was appointed as a Superior Judge in 2004. He practiced law in Barre, Vermont, for almost thirty years prior to his appointment to the trial bench, including service as deputy state’s attorney in Washington County from 1976 to 1978.

He is a graduate of the University of Vermont and attended law school at Suffolk University.
