emaili of 3/21/14 to GF: we have had a number of complaints where a filer indicates that the Case Type dropdown menu does not appear in its entirety. You can see an example below. The only option is “select”.
I have discovered that when all three of the court related fields (Type of Court, County and Division) come up pre-populated, as they did on my screen below, then the dropdown menu for case type does NOT appear.
If you then go the County dropdown, choose a DIFFERENT option than the pre-populated choice, and then choose Division, the dropdown for case type then appears in full.
Somehow that County field being prepopulated appears to cause the case type menu to disappear until you choose a DIFFERENT option in County. Doing so causes the case type dropdown to populate. THEN you can go back to the County dropdown menu and choose the menu option (in this case, Windsor) that originally appeared in the prepopulated field, and the dropdown continues to work.
