eFiling Dev: Fix: system throw "readable" msg when email not in valid format

Category

40-Registration

Title

Fix: system throw "readable" msg when email not in valid format

Description

11/9/12 RMC:  I talked about this with Giuseppe after the morning status call.   We can queue this up for the next drop: Resolution:  Put the same email edits that exist on the Registration screen into the registration screen that is part of System Administration.
ALSO -- in Search/Cases, Case info, if we change Docket # and it already exists, need friendly error message.  At document level, if we want to move document to different docket number, if docket number exists need to give friendly message.  RAO -- we are confused on this one, we DO want to be able to move a document from one case number to another case number if necessary.

Notes

11/18/13 gf: Fixed.

10/28/13CF: See "TeSting Nex Drop" Document.

10/11/13gf: Fixed.  Look for Move link in TOC.

9/18/13 CF: 34(a) and 34(b)(1) are OK

34(b)(2): 34(b) Part 2 G - Is this the solution to moving a document from one docket number to another existing docket number? If so, as I understand it, you would have to go into the TARGET case, open an existing document and move the document from the erroneous entry to here?  Wouldn’t you have to save the document to a drive before moving it?  I don’t see how you would move it from within eCabinet.  Then you would have to delete the document from the case where it was originally, erroneously entered, correct? And what if you don’t want to REPLACE anything in the target case?   I find this confusing.

"11/30/12 CF  Sent another address error, this time the  ".com"" was entered as "".co,""  (comma instead of an ""m"" and the system accepted both the attorneys registration and my test registration duplicating the error.
