Due to the unavailability of a deputy sheriff, beginning the week of August 1 the Grand Isle Courthouse will be locked on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. A deputy sheriff will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays to receive paperwork that needs to be filed for the court clerk to process and to answer questions about remote hearings that are set. Hearings in Grand Isle will continue to be held remotely.
