Holly is a former business management professional with a focus in human resources, small business entrepreneurism, and customer service where she managed employee relations, business negotiations, and creative problem solving. She was drawn to mediation as a positive way for people to solve problems for themselves. Her mediation practice, The Mediation Service, includes: family, community, and business services. The family mediation services include divorce, co-parenting, post-divorce, and other types of family mediation. For a complete list, please see her website: Talk2TMS.com. She serves on the Restorative Justice Panel for the Montpelier Community Justice Center. She is a member of many organizations including the Vermont Family Mediators, Association of Conflict Resolution, and the Vermont Bar Association.
Holly is empathetic toward all when it comes to family life. She has seen family life from many perspectives including divorce; both as a child and as an adult. As the mother of six children she understands the worry and concern that a parent has for a child, and the frustration of when parents don’t agree on the same child rearing philosophies. As the caregiver of her ailing grandmother she understands the emotional, physical, and financial demands of elder care, power of attorney, and guardianship. She recognizes that family life brings everyone moments of struggle during times of conflict. While this can cause people to not be their best selves Holly can guide and support people through the process of searching for an amicable and manageable resolution to their conflict.
